PREPARATION PHOTOGRAPHY

Your preparation photography starts 1.5-2 hours before the ceremony, documenting all the finishing touches and finer details. You may have 3 or more hours if you are wanting more of the preparations capturing, this may be if you have a larger bridal party and want finishing touches captured for each member of the party or if you are wanting both groom and bride preparations captured in multiple locations. Brides preparations cover: - Dress hanging up - Flowers, shoes, jewellery, perfume - Celebratory drinks - Matching robes, gift giving or personal sentiments - Finishing touches to hair & make up - Final fastening of the dress* - Shoes on - First look reaction photo - Bridal party all ready Groom preparations cover: - Jackets goings on - Ties on - Button hole flowers - Pre drinks together - All ready together - Walking to the ceremony space - Groom with best man - Rings with the ring bearer *I will step out the room while the dress goes on, often a good time for me to capture the men or the ceremony space. I often like to get a photo of the last button of the dress being fastened.

PRE-CEREMONY PHOTOGRAPHY

Pre-Ceremony photography starts from 30mins before the ceremony start time as a minimum, earlier if you choose to have some of your preparations captured. If having a registrar wedding, you will both have an interview in this time. I will often be capturing the venue/ceremony space set up, guest arrivals, pre drinks, photos of the rings with the ring bearer, groom with best man and also photos of the bridal party’s arrival or if already at the venue. Additionally if you are not having bridal/groom preparations capture, I can allow an extra 15 minute ‘first look’ photo, where typically a father may want to see his daughter in her dress before she heads out to the ceremony. This is a beautiful moment to capture un-staged. Some brides also like to have the same moment with the brides maids seeing her ready. This photography may include: - 30-60mins before the ceremony - Ceremony room set up - Groom ready with best man - Ring bearer with rings - Guests arriving - Bride ready or arrival by car - ‘First Look’ - works with 60 mins before the ceremony, more details below

CEREMONY PHOTOGRAPHY

Ceremony photography captures the unscripted, emotional moments of the wedding, focusing on the vows, ring exchange, kiss, and guest emotions. It requires discreet coverage and coordination with venue policy. With silent equipment, your special moments will go ahead without distraction. Elements that will be documented: - Groom waiting - Brides entrance with bridal party - various angles captured discreetly - Readings - Vowel exchange - Ring ceremony - Signing of register - Photos with the witnesses - Ceremony exit & confetti

WELCOME DRINK PHOTOGRAPHY

Your welcome or celebratory drinks filling your wedding will be documented in a candid manner. This part of your wedding is an opportunity to mingle with your guests and gives your photographer a chance to focus on your guests mingling, laughing, and enjoying the drinks and atmosphere. I will walk around discreetly capturing all the candid moments, and I will offer impromptu groups, families or couples opportunity to have their portraits captured whilst you work your way around the group.

GROUP PHOTOGRAPHY

Group photography is great opportunity to document everyone that attended your special day. Choose either formal or fun, it's up to you. I will ask for a list of the groups you want capturing. If choosing an all day package, I often suggest splitting your group photos into 3 occasion with the closest friends and family photos first, bridal party either in the same location or possibly another location and then saving the wider friendship group photos to later into the day. I’m happy to capture the more formal group photos but also happy to suggest fun options if your up for getting some different moments to remember, some examples would be: running towards the camera, a star jump or lifting of the bride or groom and various versions of these.

BRIDE & GROOM PHOTOGRAPHY

This is your time as a newly wed couple to enjoy a moment of quiet together whilst a mixture of candid and staged photos are captured in your location of choice. We can discuss locations for these but I recommend allowing at least 30 minutes for this, for an all day wedding, usually just before the wedding breakfast is an ideal time. Documenting the venue beyond your poses makes for a lovely backdrop at most locations, this might be the main entrance, a pretty location within a venue. A nearby beauty spot like the beach or headland might be your location of choice. I am happy to drive you out a short distance which we can discuss on our pre-wedding call/meeting. I like capturing natural moments but I’m happy to offer direction where it is wanting if you would like guidance in your photo moments. Sometimes I find the best photos are the natural ones in between the directed moment. I will also never be offended if you choose not to accept ideas. I have a huge passion for photography and love to suggest ideas in the moment that will best capture you both during this beautiful time, but it is all up to you in this dedicated time for couples photography. - Candid photography - Directed photography

WEDDING BREAKFAST & EVENING PHOTOGRAPHY

In the story of a wedding day, the wedding meal, often called the wedding breakfast, whether a formal sit-down dinner or a casual buffet, this wedding meal sets the tone for the festivities. As a photographer, these moments are golden. The clinking of glasses, the spontaneous laughter, the heartfelt speeches — they all come together to create memories and heartwarming photos. Elements that will be documented: - Candid moments of laughter, food sharing and drinks being enjoyed - Speeches captured from various angles - Each course of food documented where possible - Impromptu group photos - First dance - Friends and family on the dance floor - Sparklers can be a fun option in the evening - Fire pits can be a beautiful setting - Fireworks can give an epic finish to the evening
